Fresh Life Church in Kalispell, Montana

“Rock This City” is our newest weekend series in the book of Nehemiah. “Rock This City” is more than just a book study. It is a church-wide initiative to rebuild our city! Just as Nehemiah had a burden to rebuild the walls of his city, Jerusalem, we have the burden to make an impact on our city. Over the next three months, we will give our city 3000 community service hours -- in the name of Jesus.

As a church, we are committed to help our city by:
collecting trash along the highway, cleaning parks and walking/biking trails, giving blood, feeding the homeless, resurfacing a parking lot, painting over graffitied walls, landscaping a children’s rescue shelter and anything else our hands can do to change this city.

So, what does this mean for you? We need you to commit to volunteer, a minimum of, 1 hour per month in June, July and August. This small commitment is only the starting point. Feel free to volunteer as many hours as you are able, just be sure to let us know if you complete a community service event, not listed on the sign up. Click the “Log Hours” tab and let us know what you completed, how many hours you volunteered and a quick story of how the Lord used you.

Here is what you do: click the “Sign Up” tab, print the sign up document, fill it out and return it to Fresh Life Church during office hours or take it to the “Rock This City Center” during services and receive your “Rock This City” shirt.

If you live outside of the city/state, but follow us online, you can be involved as well! Rock your city by taking time to volunteer and use the “Log Hours” tab to let us know how it went. • read to students
• write thank you notes to teachers
• refill libraries full of books
• create gift baskets for foster families
• cook dinners for needy families
• collect clothing
